This past weekend was a very busy one! I've been secretly planning a surprise birthday party for Josh and went off without a hitch on Saturday (thanks to some very sneaky friends)! We couldn't really celebrate Josh's 30th birthday properly as we had just welcomed our boys two weeks prior, therefore I decided to throw him a surprise party later on to mark this momentous occasion! It was a Halloween party and everyone dressed up...including Jaxson and Foster! Jaxson got a little startled when he saw himself in his costume, I don't think he knew what to think!
We finally carved our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch on Sunday. We thought we might have a cute photo op with the larger pumpkin but it didn't quite work out as planned! We hollowed out the center then cute two leg holes and attempted to put the boys in for pictures. Foster HATED the pumpkin...as soon as his feet touched the inside he screamed, not a fan. Jaxson on the other hand kind of liked it! He actually sat in the pumpkin long enough for us to take a few pictures...see below.
In addition to all the fun over the weekend we've made some fun developmental strides as well! The boys are beginning to reach and bat at their toys, they attempt to hold their bottle while feeding, and they are continuing to roll over! Foster is doing excellent with his physical therapy and his torticollis is nearly gone!
The boys are growing like crazy...I wish I could capture everything on film or in photos.
